Located in a new business park near Van Laere’s existing headquarters and warehouses, the new HQ brings together administration, meeting spaces, and areas for client interaction within a compact three-storey volume.
Inspired by Belgium’s 19th- and early-20th-century city mansions, the building is designed as a generous and representative “house” that emphasizes hospitality and flexibility. A clear column-and-beam structural grid supports open office landscapes while allowing easy partitioning and long-term adaptability as needs evolve.
The fully prefabricated and demountable structure—combining wooden glulam cross columns and beams with hollow-core concrete slabs—expresses both Van Laere’s construction expertise and a forward-looking commitment to sustainability and flexibility.
